This clock is from circa 1920. It was sold in Indonesia back then by the Van Arcken company. The company's name is on the clock dial. Batavia is Jarkata today, and Soerabaya is Surabaya. The clock's movement is a Junghans. It has eight steel rods for it's beautiful chiming sound. This is a three keyholes mechanism as this clock chimes quarterly and strike hourly.

Isgus aka Jsgus Grandfather Clock for Repair
This grandfather clock movement was sent in for repair as it keeps stopping. There a confusion over it's brand name whether it's spelled as I-S-G-U-S or J-S-G-U-S because of the old cursive writing. After repair, the clock is now working fine. The photos above show the clock put in another clock case to test the timing as the case is not brought in together.
Isgus is from a German manufacturer originally from the Black Forest and founded in 1890.
