Repair of Elongated Bearing Holes by Rebushing

A clock movement with a broken mainspring and a few elongated bearing holes 

An elongated bearing hole with old punch marks,
attempted by previous repairman to tighten or close the hole

A new bushing is installed instead of old method of punching  

A worn bearing hole will not hold the pivot firmly in it's position
which causes the clock to stop working

This model 4MJ659 is with music "Blue Danube" playing while the animals move and water mill turn after the cuckoo called. It's no longer in production. The clock was brought in because the animals and the water mill can't move anymore. It was repaired and cleaned up to the satisfaction of the owner.
